Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026  ·  Effective immediately upon account creation

1. Who We Are

ICBM Markets operates a pre-market financial intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected. Questions? Email us at support@icbmmarkets.com.

2. What We Collect

Account information: Full name, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), timezone, and subscription plan selected at signup.

Portfolio preferences: The stock tickers you choose to track and your selected risk profile (conservative / moderate / aggressive). This data is used solely to personalize your briefings.

Email consent and preferences: We record whether you have consented to receive email briefings and whether you have paused email delivery. This record is required for regulatory compliance.

Usage data: We may collect anonymized data about how you interact with the dashboard (pages visited, briefings read) to improve the service. We do not sell this data.

Billing data: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. ICBM Markets does not store credit card numbers. We receive and store only a Stripe Customer ID for account management purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. AI and Automated Processing

ICBM Markets uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate briefing text based on public market data. Your portfolio preferences (tickers, risk profile) are included in prompts sent to the AI model to personalize output. No personally identifiable information beyond your ticker list and risk preference is shared with the AI provider. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

ICBM Markets also trains internal machine learning models on aggregated, anonymized market signal data. These models do not process or retain personally identifiable information.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure in North America. We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records may be retained for 7 years for tax purposes).

Briefing content and signal history may be retained in anonymized form for model training purposes after account deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email support@icbmmarkets.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Email Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive daily pre-market briefing emails. You may pause email delivery at any time from your account settings. Your briefings remain accessible in the dashboard regardless of email preference.

We use Resend to deliver email. Resend may process your email address in accordance with their own privacy policy.

9. Cookies and Tracking

ICBM Markets uses localStorage (browser storage) to maintain your login session and dashboard preferences (e.g., light/dark mode). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ICBM Markets:

11. Children's Privacy

ICBM Markets is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Users in the European Union may have additional rights under the GDPR; contact us to exercise them.
